Installation

Typical installation steps from GitHub:

1. Clone the Repository

Clone the Chaos MVC repository:

git clone https://github.com/stnlabz/chaos-mvc.git

2. Configure the Database

Configure your database credentials in:

/app/core/config.php

define('DB_HOST', 'localhost');
define('DB_USER', 'username');
define('DB_PASS', 'password');
define('DB_NAME', 'database');

3. Import the Database Schema

Import the database schema located at:

/app/install/schema.sql

4. Create the First Administrator

• Create the first user with a password generated using: password_hash()
• Set the administrator account: user_level = 9

For the Not So Tech Savvy, or the Easy Way

• Navigate to https://yourdomain.com/install
• Follow the instructions
• Log in
